Onemig Bondoc, who is estranged from wife Valerie Bariou, wants sole custody of their kids: seven-year old Armel and one-year old Anton. This is according to a report aired in StarTalk last Saturday, Jan 10, 2014.
The two met in 2007, had a child the same year, and got married last December 2009. However, the two started living separately last October 2013.
And now Onemig is airing their dirty laundry. He said in the StarTalk interview that one of the reasons why they separated is because “for her it’s her way or the highway.” He said, “Siya, gusto niya, yung siya lang sa mundo niya, gusto niya siya lang ang puwedeng magkamali. Pero yung mga tao sa paligid niya, dapat hindi magkamali.”
The juicy stuff?
“Pinalayas nya ako sa condo ko, sa condo namin na ako mismo ang nagbabayad lahat.”
Onemig has also hinted that his kids want to be with him instead of their mother.
“Why don’t you stay na lang with Mama?” he said he asked his daughter Armel, who answered that “mama has no job, mama has no money” and that “ she cannot take care of us.”
As for Valerie, Onemig has this to say: “Alam mo Val, I’ve already talked to you many times but you really don’t want to meet halfway. I don’t really wanna do this but it seems that you really want this, and you’re forcing me to do it, so I guess I’ll just see you in court. And as a father, I will do everything and anything to protect my children. Sana hindi na dumating sa ganito. But now it’s too late.”
