Another star has moved to the Kapamilya network.
During án ABS-CBN trade event on Tue, Nov 22, it was revealed that singer-comedian Ogie Alcasid will be part of the network’s reality talent show Your Face Sounds Familiar.

Ogie will join Sharon Cuneta and Gary Valenciano as part of the judges table for the show, which will have a celebrity kids edition next year.
This news ends speculations that Ogie will leave TV5, his home network for three years. Before moving to TV5 in 2013, the veteran singer-songwriter was with ABS-CBN’s rival network GMA.
Last Aug, Ogie did admit he is open to signing up with ABS-CBN.
“Anything is possible. … Pero ang feeling ko sa three years being with TV5 we weren’t able to accomplish what we were supposed to accomplish,” he said.

It’s clear, however, if Ogie signed a network contract with ABS-CBN.
Ogie’s Instagram post on Tue, Nov 22 suggests that he will soon make an appearance on GMA’s gag show Bubble Gang, where he was a mainstay prior to his move to TV5.

But Ogie’s involvement in an ABS-CBN show follows a string of TV5 stars who moved to ABS-CBN. Veteran stars Sharon Cuneta and Aga Muhlach, and showbiz newcomes Ritz Azul and Vin Abrenica are only some of the TV5 talents who switched network alliances, after TV5’s move to dial down on local and original programming.
We can’t wait to see more of Ogie on television soon!
