If you are following — or actually friends with — actor Archie Alemania on Facebook, it woud be hard to miss the photos he posted a few hours ago from the Independent Spirit Awards 2015 in the United States.

It’s like the awards for the indie industry. It’s so cool it’s held at a beach. In Santa Monica, California. Yeah, dude.

Archie was there with Team Norte because the Lav Diaz film was nominated for Best International Film.

With him were director Diaz, producer Moira Lang and actor Sid Lucero who was so loveable and repulsive in that movie he still haunts us in our dreams.

Polish film Ida, a beautifully shot sad film set in the 1960s, edged out Lav Diaz’s Norte, but clearly that didn’t stop at least one Team Norte member from having fun at the awards.
