Nora Aunor, proud of Ian de Leon’s heroic act

Ian de Leon was back on the spotlight because of a pleasantly surprising heroic act.

He saved a child on the evening of Mar 21 when the boy was hit by a motorcycle as he was biking on Agguire Avenue in Paranaque City.

Kristine Madrigal Sarmiento, the boy’s mother, posted about the actor’s heroic act on Facebook. Sarmiento said the actor “was the only one who came to the rescue of a total stranger.”

According to a report by Inquirer, Ian de Leon was the one who brought the child to the hospital.

De Leon downplayed what he did. “Thank you for all your kind words! Our good Lord knows how grateful I am that he used me as His tool to help out Ethan,” he said on Facebook.

It’s no secret that de Leon and his mother, Nora Aunor have had misunderstandings. It was even reported that she snubbed his wedding last year.

However, a mother will always be a mother.

In spite of their mother-son squabbles, Aunor said that she is proud of his son’s actions.

Hero siya sa mata ng mga tao. Pero mas masaya sana ako kung maayos ang lahat … Ang pinaka-importante naman ngayon ay ang ginawa niyang kabutihan sa kapwa niya. Magandang gesture ang ginawa niya bilang tao, (He is a hero in the public eye. I would have been happier if only everything was all right between us. What’s important is the pleasing act he has done to his fellow. He manifested a good gesture as a person)”Nora Aunor said in an interview with Inquirer.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH IAN DE LEON, THE ACTOR AND SON OF NORA AUNOR AND CHRISTOPHER DE LEON? I WOULD…
