We can’t imagine how the Buencaminos must be feeling right now.

On Tuesday evening, their 15-year-old daughter Julia was found dead at the family home in Quezon City in an apparent suicide. She is the youngest in a brood of four.

The bereaved couple sent out an official statement to the media through their manager, Ricky Gallardo:

“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our beloved daughter Julia Buencamino. We would like to make a firm request to allow us to mourn her passing privately. We make this appeal for privacy also on behalf of those close to us, who wish to remember Julia and celebrate her life in peace and quiet.

“We thank you for your love, understanding, and prayers of support during this time of profound grief.

“Julia led a beautiful and blessed life, and she will be fondly remembered and terribly missed by her family and friends.”

According to Arniel C. Serato’s report on pep.ph, the profound loss was palpable on Wednesday, the first night of Julia’s wake, which is at Mount Carmel Church in Quezon City.

Holy mass was said at around 8pm, which was attended by several showbiz personalities like Bembol Roco, Bibeth Orteza, Gary Lim, and Joel Torre.
