No live audience for ‘It’s Showtime’ and four other ABS-CBN shows to stop COVID-19 spread

ABS-CBN’s popular noontime variety show It’s Showtime, Sunday show ASAP Natin ‘To, morning talk show Magandang Buhay, gag show Banana Sundae, and musical game show I Can See Your Voice will closing their studios to live audiences after the recent spike in new cases of COVID-19 in the city.

The network’s management announced this morning that they will temporarily stop admitting studio audiences starting today due to the government’s declaration of a state of public health emergency.

ABS-CBN said that the safety and well-being of its studio audience, artists, and crew are important, which is why the media giant is “taking this option for their protection,” adding that curbing the spread of COVID-19 is part of their “shared responsibility.”
