Sorry, AlDub fans in America’s Sunshine State. Imagine You and Me won’t be showing there, after all.
According to film director Michael Tuviera, screenings have been cancelled because the bootleg version got leaked online.
We’re guessing that the organizers think that those who’ve seen the movie online won’t be willing to pay to see it again on the big screen.
Obviously they have not met an AlDub fan.
Imagine You and Me stars Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza and was shot in Como, Italy. It was meant to be a gift for their fans to mark the love team’s first anniversary.
Direk Mike, however, hinted on the possibility of the movie being made available on a pay-per-view channel.
Imagine You and Me is already screening in other parts of the US as well as in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Canada.
