Nikki Gil appeared on The Buzz Sunday afternoon to promote her new album, Love Revisited. The singer dedicates “When I Met You,” to her to fiancé Bj Albert, whom she says is “the one who made her fall in love again.”
She was asked about the proposal and revealed that “it happened on 12-13-14 — Dec 13, 2014, but it was unintentional. Na-realize lang ni BJ after na lang. He only wanted to propose before we left for Europe,” Nikki shares.
The two became official in February 2014 and after ten months got engaged. When asked what made her say yes, Nikki said: “It made so much sense, not just in my head, but in my heart. It wasn’t like a burning passionate yes. It was a quiet, calm, peace in my heart. It was so clear that it was God-arranged. Of course, I said yes.”
And then the hosts had to ask the hypothetical question about Nikki’s ex-boyfriend and his current flame: What will you tell Coleen Garcia about Billy Crawford? Without missing a beat, Nikki answered, “That he is a good person.”
All’s well that ends well!
