Nice one, Vice! He jumpstarted the now-viral hashtag #proudtobeme

After giving a muy fantastico advice on work on Monday’s episode of It’s Showtime, here comes Vice Ganda again with another jewel of an advice.

On Wednesday, a 16 year-old girl Pamela Reyes asked for an advice on how to deal with bullies.

His advice to the tearful girl? “Be proud of yourself.”

“In a move that touched viewers,” Vice Ganda decided to remove his contact lens, hair extensions, and make-up to prove that real beauty comes from within,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

Maganda ako at maganda ka,” he said.

But the comedian didn’t stop there. On his Instagram account, he posted a photo of himself without makeup — with nary a caption save for the hashtag #ProudToBeMe.

This will hopefully discourage bullies from making fun of people based on looks.

It’s very refreshing to hear something like this, no? Feels like the complete opposite of Tito Sotto’s backward advice on Eat Bulaga
