Amalayer girl airs her side!

Paula Jamie Salvosa, more popularly known as the “Amalayer” girl, finally got to say her piece on national TV last Friday, Nov. 16. According to interakasyon.com, the famous commuter granted TV5’s “Andar ng mga Balita” an exclusive interview, where she said that she hasn’t been going to school lately. She, however, clarified that she didn’t get expelled. “Di po totoo yung na-expel ako. I was advised and I prefer not to go to school muna,” explained Paula, who added that she’s afraid of riding the LRT again because someone might recognize her. “Baka may bumato or something.”

The internet sensation also shared how it’s unfair that she’s getting all the negative comments when people don’t really know the whole story and that the video doesn’t show everything that happened that day. “I do regret my actions, but I don’t think I deserve all this,” she told News5’s Grace Lee and Jove Francisco.

Paula is now challenging the LRT lady guard to also go on air with her so that they could talk about the issue in front of everyone. She is also considering legal options to deal with the person who unfairly and inconsiderately uploaded just little parts of the whole incident, showing her in a bad light.
