The new Robinson’s Magnolia Mall failed a police security test over the weekend.
The Quezon City Police District conducted the test to see after a spate of robberies at malls in Metro Manila. As part of the test, two policemen entered the mall with guns tucked into their waists.
The guards allegedly did not notice the pistol during the security check at the mall entrance. Another policeman brought a gun in his bag, but was allowed entry after claiming he was a policeman.
The guards allegedly did not seek proper identification, GMA News reported.
