TV5 has a new show, Showbiz Konek na Konek, which will premiere on April 6, 2015, 11 a.m.
Hosting it are two of the usual suspects: MJ Marfori and IC Mendoza. The addition of actress Bianca King as another host is the interesting part.
Bianca told Arniel Serato of Pep.ph that she’s always wanted to host a talk show, any type of talk show. She also admits that hosting a showbiz talk show should prove to be challenging since she is also an artista so she needs to be careful with how she delivers the news but at the same time show everyone that she is updated, as well.
Co-host MJ has a good point: “Happy ako na si Bianca ang kasama dito para may voice din yung mga artista.”
As for IC, get ready to see him tackle bigger and more serious stories, not just the so-so and shallow ones he used to do.
