Are you ready to #GoCoconuts?

Singing and dancing on the rows, the 75-member Baylor University School of Music Men’s Choir performed a delightful acapella version of Filipino composer Ryan Cayabyab’s “Da Coconut Nut” on an Emirates flight from Kenya to the United States.

The song was popularized by Cayabyab’s group Smokey Mountain in the ’90s. Its choral arrangement has also become popular, performed by choirs from around the world.

Emirates writes, “When you go coconuts on an Emirates flight. Thank you Baylor University Men’s Choir for a great onboard performance. 🌴”

Oh, yes. #GoCoconuts indeed! We can’t blame them if the love the coconut nut that is not a nut. A new coconuts emoji is even coming soon.

As of Saturday, the video posted on Facebook has been viewed over 2 million times and has been shared more than 27,700 times.
