The people have spoken. Nadine Lustre gets the seventh and final slot for nominees in the Best Southeast Asian Act category of the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards.

The On the Wings of Love lead actress beat artists from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand to get the wildcard spot for the October 25 contest in Milan, Italy.

Interestingly, Nadine will be battling it out with frequent collaborator James Reid. We’ll be seeing fans of these OTWOL co-stars face off beyond the the “JaDine” fandom, so expect it to be quite a showdown.

It looks like the two are all up against each other now, but Nadine and James have worked on many tracks before, mostly for the soundtrack of their films, like Para sa Hopeless Romantic, Diary ng Panget, and Talk Back and You’re Dead.

This is Nadine’s first international recognition since she launched her music career in 2014. Already, she has a self-titled album to her name. She’s also been very active in the scene.

Nadine and James, who are representing the Philippines, are hoping to defend the title, so to speak. In 2014, Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo was crowned the MTV EMAs Best Southeast Asia Act.

The other nominees are Slot Machine (Thailand), Faizal Tahir (Malaysia), Son Tung M-TP (Vietnam) NOAH (Indonesia) and The Sam Willows (Singapore).
