Believe it or not, teen stars Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre have never ever met one another.
Famous for resembling each other and for being pitted against one another, these two finally got to be formally introduced to each other last May 10, 2015, before their production number for the Sunday show ASAP 20.
According to Bernie Franco of Pep.ph, it was stylist Bang Pineda who made the first meeting possible backstage. It was quick since Kathryn still had to rehearse, but Nadine was able to tell her that she saw the trailer for Kathryn’s soap Pangako Sa’yo and that she thinks it’s really nice. Kathryn thanked her.
Nadine also added that she was happy about the meeting because she heard that Kathryn admitted on The Buzz before that she feels some awkwardness with Nadine because they are being pitted against each other.
