We’re excited to watch the pilot episode of the GMA 7 show “My Husband’s Lover” tonight, June 10, after “Mundo Mo’y Akin.” After all, it’s a first in Philippine TV.

The plot: Vincent (Tom Rodriguez) and Lally (Carla Abellana) are married, with two kids, and family life is finally starting to be good. But things get cray-cray when Eric (Dennis Trillo) enters the picture. Why not when Eric and Vincent are both gay (Vincent is still in the closet though) and still love one another after all these years?
Congrats to GMA 7 for being open-minded and brave enough to come up with such a show. The Philippines is surely getting more and more accepting of the LGBT community with shows like “My Husband’s Lover.” Let’s see how the public will accept this new GMA 7 show.
