MMFF ambassador Mocha Uson to tap ‘power of social media’ to ensure event’s success

After attracting millions of followers via her blog and Facebook page, snagging column space in a major daily, Mocha Uson now takes on another role.

In case you missed it, Mocha Uson has been named as the official ambassador of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). It was revealed that Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) general manager Thomas “Tim” Orbos himself had asked for her help in promoting the MMFF.

“At a press conference in Malacañan, Uson declared that she would use the power of social media to persuade people to support the festival,” reports Inquirer.net.

Uson said in Filipino, “We need to patronize our own films being shown in the MMFF, and I will help this cause through social media and other ways with the aim of drumming up support of our fellow Filipinos.”
