Looks like some unscrupulous people are taking advantage of the upcoming 39th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). A man was apprehended recently for selling fake complimentary MMFF ticket online.
“Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Francis Tolentino revealed that they’ve conducted an entrapment operation and that the suspect now in their custody,” reports Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com.
The MMDA has not yet disclosed the identity of the suspect so their follow-up operation won’t be jeopardized. They’re pretty sure his accomplices are still out their planning their next faking project.
The report revealed that “due to the incident, the MMDA has change the complimentary tickets that have already been issued.”
