Miss Philippines Angelia Ong just became Miss Earth 2015!
It’s a historic back-to-back win as Miss Earth 2014 Filipina Jamie Herrell passed on the Miss Earth crown to fellow Filipina Angelia Ong at the coronation night held at Marx Halle in Vienna, Austria Saturday night (Sunday morning, Manila time).
This is the first time in Miss Earth’s history that a country won for the second time in a row.
The runners-up are: Australia’s Dayanna Grageda is Miss Earth-Air (first runner-up), USA’s Brittany Payne is Miss Earth-Water (second runner-up), and Brazil’s Thiessa Sickert is Miss Earth-Fire (third runner-up).
Ong bested 85 beautiful women from around the world.
