After Miss Universe Pia Wurzbach told host Steve Harvey he needs to stop beating “yourself for this anymore and move forward” on Monday, it was First Runner-Up, Adriadna Gutierrez’s turn to give the host some advice.
It was this: “You have to learn how to read cards.”
Miss Colombia appeared on The Steve Harvey Show on Tue, Jan 19 following Wurtzbach’s appearance on Monday, and gamely revealed what went through her mind as Harvey corrected his mistake, just minutes after he announced her the winner.
“If you can see the videos, you can see me laughing because I thought you were about to make a joke. Like Oprah. ‘You’re Miss Universe! You’re Miss Universe! Everyone is Miss Universe,” Gutierrez said, laughing.
The Colombian beauty queen appeared to have moved on, cracking jokes and laughing candidly. “You have to learn how to read cards [because] it was on the card,” Gutierrez said seriously before cracking yet another joke: “You wanted me to win, you know.”
How nice to see everyone has moved on.
