After all the hullaballoo, Melissa Mendez has issued a public apology to Rey Pamaran, the Cebu Pacific co-passenger she punched on March 20 and resulted in the pilot’s decision to offload her from the plane.
In a post on Instagram dated March 24, Mendez posted her apology. She said she was owning up to her mistake and that she had no right to hurt Rey.
However, Rey is not happy.
On Facebook, he said that after reading the apology, he immediately made up his mind to pursue his case against her. Last Sunday, he posted an open letter expressing how he would no longer file a case if she issues a public apology.
Rey said that he is still giving Melissa another chance and that she should do it on TV because she also used the medium to defend herself and destroy his reputation.
