A lot of artists move from one network to another, and we usually hear about how they are enjoying it so much and how they are very happy at their new home. There are some rare times when some of them honestly share that they do miss their old network.
Take Martin Escudero, for example. He was part of the GMA 7 talent search StarStruck Season 4 (2006 – 2007), where he won the title Ultimate Male Survivor. After several projects, he decided on a career moved and jumped over to TV5 in 2011.
“Matagal din ako sa GMA,” he told Rommel Gonzales of Pep.ph. “Nami-miss ko yung mga nakatrabaho ko, yung sa off-cam, yung mga boss.”
The good thing is that TV5 is still giving him projects. Martin is part of Wattpad Presents How to break Up with a Bad Boy together with Vin Abrenica and Mich Liggayu.
Martin also doesn’t feel bad about how other artists are getting bigger projects than him. Take, for example, Vin and Mark Neumann. “Okey lang,” he said. Syempre kelangan din naman nila yun. Ako, parang tulong lang sa kanila na makasama ko sila kasi hindi naman na yung kasikatan ang habol ko eh. Yung magandang project atsaka award naman ang habol ko.”
