American pop rock band Maroon 5 flew in a day early of their concert and found some time to enjoy Metro Manila. How? By playing golf.
They were spotted practicing their swings at the Manila Golf Club, located inside exclusive Forbes Park in Makati, ahead of their concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena tonight.
Lead vocalist Adam Levine, who is apparently a golf nut, was photographed inside the exclusive club enjoying a quick round.
Emphasis on ‘quick’ because according to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the band’s rendezvous was cut short thanks to a thunderstorm. Levine and his bandmates were on the 17th hole when officials required everyone to stop playing.
The PDI report notes that it was a fuss-free day for Adam and the boys because club members who were there hardly gave them any attention. “Most of the members who were there at that time were past 60 already,” one club member was quoted as saying.
