It’s one of those things you forget about…until it’s in the news again.
“The Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office has dismissed physical injury and oral defamation charges filed against actor Mark Herras due to lack of probable cause,” reports Chito Chavez in Tempo.
The report indicated that “in a one-page resolution, Assistant City Prosecutor Maria Raisa Geronimo junked the charges, citing that they were considered as barangay cases only.”
The report noted: “Complainant Salvador Ogdiman, Jr., a taxi driver filed the cases last year after Herras and his four unidentified companions allegedly hurled invectives at him before mauling him in the afternoon of October 26, 2013 at the corner of Scout Torillo and Scout Rallos in Quezon City.”
There’s no doubt Herras is dancing for joy over this.
We can’t say the same for the taxi driver who claims he was literally struck by the star.
