ICYMI, actress and international style star Heart Evangelista recently made headlines for her outfits as she returned to the fashion capital of Paris, where Paris Fashion Week returned to the runway after two years of online shows.
After earning double taps for her deep-necked shawl lapel and white tulle combo (and for reportedly causing those US$380 Yves Saint-Laurent sunglasses to sell out worldwide), designer and close friend Mark Bumgarner shared the sketch behind this beloved ensemble.
“I’ve had this design in mind specially for (Heart) for a while,” the designer wrote on social media alongside “sketch-to-reality” footage.
“You know when an idea hits and you know it’s the right one? This was it. Was just waiting for the right moment. And it finally happened at #parisfashionweek no less.”
Designers and celebrities flooded social media with praises.
“Super loved this, Mark! Her best outfit while she was at Paris. Proudly Filipino too,” Rissa Mananquil commented.
“Just chic,” Norman Tan, Vogue Singapore’s editor-in-chief said.
