On Thursday evening, Robin Padilla’s management sent out a statement informing the public that his wife, Mariel Rodriguez, has suffered a miscarriage anew.
The Philippine Daily Inquirer tweeted the full statement from Padilla, while pep.ph published a portion of the private message it received from the action star. “I would like to inform the good public that my wife suffered a miscarriage,” it simply read.
The couple lost their triplets on Wed, Aug 12 at 6:30pm.
This unfortunate incident comes a day after Robin made headlines for backing out of his MMFF movie with Japanese adult film star Maria Ozawa. His reasons were legit: He wanted to take care of his wife.
Maria Ozawa called him unprofessional for backing out 10 days before shooting began. Binoe actually defended Ozawa on Facebook, saying it was natural for her to feel that way and that she should be able to voice out her pain freely.
