Sad news: Mariel Rodriguez has suffered a miscarriage.
The 30-year old wife of Robin Padilla shared last Monday that she was eight weeks and three days pregnant but that her baby did not develop.
“I am waiting to bleed anytime now,” she said. “Doctor says it’s a miscarriage. Sharing with all of you my journey. I don’t have it all figured out yet but I know with all the prayers, love, and support that you are all bestowing upon me, I will get through this. I want to thank everyone who sent me a message, to Claudine Barretto who went out of her way to extend her grief for me and making me feel that I am not alone, those who prayed for us and everyone who showed their concern. From the bottom of my heart, it means a lot to me. Thank you!”
She also shared her journey by posting on Facebook pictures such as a snapshot of the pregnancy kit that said she was expecting, and an ultrasound of her little one she nicknamed Cutie Pie.
They actually thought of names for the little one already: Juan Ferdinand if it was a boy and Catherine Isabel if it was a girl.
Such sad news.
