On Tonight with Boy Abunda yesterday, Mariel Rodriguez said her second miscarriage last August was “the most painful thing that has happened to me.”
She was expecting triplets, and she thought that was God’s way of making up for her first miscarriage last March.
“And then I lost the heartbeat. Iyon talaga, nag-breakdown na ako doon. I was really going to lose it. I was about to go dark. I was bitter and I was not in a good place,” she said.
To get help her get out of her depression, Robin took her out on a trip and assured her everything “will be okay even if it were just the two of us.”
Mariel said, “I’m so blessed kasi Robin was really supportive. Hindi man ako sinuwerte na magkaroon ng anak ngayon, sobra akong suwerte sa asawa.”
