“Kapag may nangyari sa anak ko, hindi ko mapapatawad ang sarili ko.”
Marian Rivera said that, and that is exactly why she prioritized her pregnancy over her showbiz career, when she gave up the promising show The Rich Man’s Daughter. She was supposed to be the bida but because she’s having a delicate pregnancy, she opted to quit despite already having shot scenes. Rhian Ramos was chosen to replace her.
In an interview with Rachelle Siazon of Pep.ph, Marian said that while she loves showbiz and that it;s part of her life, what is important to her right now is starting a family. “Gusto ko marami talagang anak, so yun ang pangarap ko.”
She explained thats he gave up the show because she wants to be healthy for the baby. “Sabi ko nga, ang soap madali yan eh. Kahit next year, kaya kong gawin. Pero pag may nangyari sa anak ko, hindi ko mapapatawad ang sarili ko. So mas pipiliin na safe sya.”
And what does her hubby Dingdong Dantes have to say about this? “Bihira daw ang babae na gini-give up ang lahat para magkaroon ng pamilya. At nagpapasalamat sya sa Panginoon, natagpuan nya yung babaeng yun.”
