Maria Ozawa apologizes to Robin Padilla for calling him ‘unprofessional’

Japanese adult film actress Maria Ozawa has finally apologized to Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez after her harsh words last month when she called Robin ‘unprofessional’ for backing out of Nilalang, an entry to the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.

Robin had wanted to be by his pregnant wife’s side, who later suffered a miscarriage.

“I’m really sorry about what I’ve said before. If I had the chance, I would… I want to say sorry in person. I want to apologize about everything. Best wishes to them,” Maria told ABS-CBN News.

Robin’s camp has accepted her apology and wished her all the best in her career.

This is the second time Maria has apologized to a Filipino celebrity. In July, she said sorry to Kris Aquino for a spoof report that romantically linked her to Philippine President Noynoy Aquino, Kris’ older brother. Maria had nothing do with the report, of course.

“I don’t know who said it first, but everybody was making a big deal out of it. If I have a chance to speak to her (Aquino) one day, I’ll just apologize,” Maria said, according to ABS-CBN News.

Meanwhile, Maria says they have finished taping Nilalang, which she topbills with actor Cesar Montano. This is her first major acting role in the Philippines. It’s about corrupt Philippine cops and transnational organized crime.
