Maria Ozawa apologizes to Cesar Montano, blames media and Mo Twister

Oh, the lady doth protest too much!

Former adult film actress Maria Ozawa has apologized to Cesar Montano for saying on the Good Times With Mo podcast that they had a one-night stand before filming their 2015 movie Nilalang, reports Pep.ph.

According to reporter Jojo Gabinete, the 30-year-old Japanese actress said sorry to Cesar via text message.

“Did u see this news??? What’s up with the Philippine media making up stories? We were joking about it at my podcast but didn’t know the news will pick it up.  I’m sorry Cesar for the hassle. I just saw the news and really broke my heart,” she wrote.

Maria also slammed Mo Twister and accused him of editing out the part where she said it was just a joke.

In an Instagram post, Maria said she has “learned a lesson” following the issue.

This isn’t the first time Maria made headlines in the Philippines. She was also slammed by netizens after she criticized Robin Padilla for backing out of “Nilalang” following the miscarriage of his wife Mariel Rodriguez. This time around, we truly hope she has learned her lesson. Welcome to Philippine showbiz, Maria!
