While many still don’t understand why President Rodrigo Duterte would suspend classes on the day that marks Ferdinand Marcos’ declaration of martial law 45 years ago, we can all agree that we all still need to learn about those dark days in Philippine history right?

Catch the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) production Game of Trolls and learn about some of the violence and human rights violations that happened during that time. The show started running early this month but what better time to watch it than now?

Date: Sept. 2 – 30 (ends next Saturday)
Venue: PETA Theater Center, 5 Eymard Drive, New Manila, Quezon City

Just think of all the insta-worthy backdrops!
