Calling all winos! Start your weekend early when you go to Lemuria restaurant’s wine and cheese tasting tomorrow. For a fee of PHP1,200 (US$23.04), you get to try a selection of wines paired with cheese.

Attend a colorful festival

Venue: North Fountain, SM by the bay, Seaside Blvd., Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City

Have you been wanting to travel but just can’t see to find the time? This Sunday, you can explore a new culture without having to fly out of Manila. The Holi Festival, or the Indian “festival of colors,” will be held this weekend at the Mall of Asia Complex.

Apart from the traditional throwing of colored powder, the event will also have cultural performances, Indian music, and Indian food.

Venue: The Theatre at Solaire, Entertainment City, 1 Aseana Ave., Parañaque City

The Lion King musical will be staged at The Theatre at Solaire starting this Sunday. Apart from being Broadway’s third longest-running show in history, it’ll also be a treat for Disney lovers who grew up watching The Lion King movie.

Favorites like Circle of LifeHakuna Matata, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight are all part of the musical so you’ll surely be singing along the entire time.
