Let’s hope all exes are like her.
During the press conference for her upcoming concert on Tue, Oct 25, Maja Salvador said she supports the upcoming reunion project of ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson with her friend Kim Chiu.

The actress noted that their willingness to work together is a sign that they’ve all grown up — especially Kim, whose heartbreak everyone saw when she and Gerald split in 2010.
“Nakita natin lahat ng sakit na pinagdaanan niya. But now, sobrang woman na siya. She’s accepting lahat ng challenges at wala na siyang paki kung may mang-bash sa kanya or what,” Maja said.
(We all saw what she went through. But now, she’s really a woman. She’s accepting all the challenges and she does not care if she gets bashed or what.)
She added: “Napaka-professional niyang tao and I’m very happy sa kung anong klaseng babae ngayon si Kim—sobrang strong niya ngayon, paganda rin siya nang paganda.”
(She’s such a professional and I’m very happy with what kind of woman Kim has become. She’s very strong, and she’s also becoming more and more beautiful.)
As you may know, the two actress were close friends — until Maja entered into a relationship with Gerald in 2013. But they have since reconciled.
Maja eventually split with Gerald after a two-year relationship.
“We’re civil,” Maja said of her current relationship with Gerald, adding they respect each other because they work in the same network. “Maganda naman ‘yong pinagsamahan namin, wala naman akong nire-regret sa lahat ng nangyari sa akin or sa past na pangyayari sa buhay ko.”
(We had a good relationship, I do not regret anything that has happened in my life.)
She’s also not adverse to the idea of working with Kim and Gerald.
“If the story of the project is good, why not,” Maja said. “Work is work.”
“Ang liit lang ng mundo namin, magkakatrabaho at magkakatrabaho kami… Ang daming puwedeng mangyari sa industriya namin. At no choice kami kasi ang liit lang ng mundo namin,” she explained.
(Our industry is small, we will really end up working with each other… A lot can happen in our industry. And we have no choice because our world is small.)

Maja has worked with both Gerald and Kim in the past. Most recenly, the actress worked with Gerald in a Christmas mini-series for ABS-CBN in 2014, a few months before their split.
She stressed that, in the end, what an artist like her wants is to do a good project.
“Para mapasaya namin kayong lahat,” Maja said.
