On Sunday, Maine Mendoza pranked Alden Richards on his ‘DJ Bae’ segment on the GMA-7 Sunday noontime program Sunday Pinasaya.
“Teka, teka, ano to,” Alden shouts surprised, when a caller from Bulacan said she was at the “Tamang Panahon” concert on Saturday.
“Maine, ikaw ba yan,” he continued to pry, later on addressing the Pinasaya production crew: “Hindi niyo ako in-orient”.
In the segment, which mimics relationship advice programs on radio, Alden plays DJ Bae, who is joined by DJ Peter the bitter played by Jerald Napoles.
Yesterday, Maine asked if DJ Bae could send a message to Alden from her. “Sige, sige, I’ll be your messenger,” DJ Bae agreed.
“Gusto ko lang sana magpasalamat sa ibinigay niyang sapatos,” Maine said.
This prompted the two to talk about Saturday’s concert. DJ Bae told Maine that he actually spoke with Alden after the concert. “Sabi niya, ang sarap-sarap daw nung feeling.”
DJ Peter then interrupted the two, asking Maine if she was able to sleep after Saturday’s show. “Hindi po ako talaga nakatulog kakaisip. Inaalala ko pa kasi yung pagyakap niya sa akin,” Maine gamely answered.
Alden, who was in character as DJ Bae, turned shy and said, it was the same for Alden.
