Upon learning she won the best supporting actress award for her performance in My Bebe Love #KiligPaMore, the MMFF first-timer took to Twitter to express her surprise.
As always, she displayed humility, self-deprecation and good-naturedness.
“Bago pa ako ibash ng sambayanan, mauuna na ko: Bakit ako? Pero maraming salamat po! Magandang umaga sa lahat” she tweeted on Monday morning.
Maine wasn’t able to go to the awarding ceremony on Sunday night as she is vacationing in Japan.
My Bebe Love #KiligPaMore is her first movie and her first time in the MMFF.
