International Pop superstar Madonna visited an orphanage in Manila on Feb 23, a day before her two-day concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.
On Instagram Madonna revealed that she visited the Bahay Tuluyan Foundation Inc.
She posted a photo of herself with three of the children under the orphanage’s care. Her caption: “Chillin with my Homies at the Bahay Tuluyan Foundation. Inc. giving shelter to Orphans street children trafficking/abuse victims in Manilla‼”
This is Madonna’s first Instagram post in the Philippines, after her “quiet entrance” in the country on Monday morning.
According to Allan Policarpio of Philippine Day Inquirer, Madonna watched a dance number prepared by the children in the orphanage. “She ended up dancing with them, too,” the report quoted Catherine Scerri, the organization’s deputy director.
