Oh showbiz, what a small world you are!
Celebrities Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola, who only recently ended their respective high-profile relationships, appears to have found new partners — each other.
Citing an unnamed source, Philippine Star entertainment editor Ricky Lo reports that the two are “actually already an item” and “on their way to a beautiful romance.”
Asked to give a “definite answer” on the real status of Luis and Jessy’s relationship, Lo’s source said, “Yes, they are on!”
We’re not surprised.
Luis was first linked to Jessy by netizens and the press in April, when the actress greeted the TV host on his birthday via an Instagram post. Back then, the two denied the rumor.
Jessy, however, has admitted that she’s starting to become fond of Luis last year, after the Family Feud host defended her when, in Ricky Lo’s words, “she was harassed by a drunken actor on a flight to London.” Hello, Enrique Gil!
“Hindi rin naman biro ang nangyari sa amin sa London. So from that nagsimula mas maging magkaibigan kami,” Jessy was quoted by Philstar.com in May.

Interestingly, both Jessy and Luis have figured in high-profile breakups: Luis with Angel, and Jessy with JM De Guzman.
Despite the sure na sure report of Ricky Lo, however, there’s still no confirmation from the two. So we’ll just go ahead and assume that it is true and wish them both the love they deserve.
