Lovi Poe admitted for the first time that GMA star Rocco Nacino is her boyfriend.
She was asked by Lolit Solis in yesterday’s episode of StarTalk whether she wanted to admit anything concerning Rocco. “You know what, he is special to me,” she said. “Oh my God, I’m so confused! Oh my God, I’m put on the spot! I have to say that yeah, he’s special to me so whatever you guys think… basta special siya sa akin. Oh my God! I’m gonna say it. Yes! Oh my God! I’m sweating like crazy, this is the first time. My God!”
Lovi also talked about a couple of men she was linked with in the past.
When asked by the host if she had a relationship with Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca, she said yes, even if they were both denying it back then. “I guess I was just in a weird stage in my life before. I wasn’t able to give him the right or the proper recognition so I guess this is it,” she explained.
When asked about Ronald Singson, another guy she was romantically linked with, StarTalk host and Lovi’s friend Heart Evangelista joined in on the conversation and said, “Basta mahal na mahal siya ni Ronald Singson!” Lovi explained, “Wala, kasi certain things happened so alam mo yun, may mga bagay kasi na siguro may mga pinlano ka pero ang tadhana na ang hindi sumang-ayon.” She clarified that she’s not ashamed of him and what happened to them in the past. “No, of course not. I am a very private person and it has always been an issue naman eh. For me kasi nga, ever since hindi talaga ako nagsasalita especially when it comes to my personal life. So ayun, with my past relationships naging issue talaga yan. So I’m trying to change things, if ever.”
Ronald, if you remember, spent 18 months in a Hong Kong prison a couple of years ago after admitting that the drugs found in his possession were for personal use.
Well, what can we say, but we’re happy for Lovi and Rocco.
