A certain woman named Morena Ebrada is claiming that actress Louise delos Reyes is her daughter. In an interview with Lhar Santiago of 24 Oras, she claims that she gave birth to the actress on Aug. 2, 1992 in a clinic in Malibay. She even presented a birth certificate of Dharlee Mhay Ebrada – the name she gave the baby – as proof.
Morena explained that she had to give up the baby “dahil sa hirap ng buhay” and that Jun and Elvie Perido were the ones who adopted the little one.
However, Louise and her mom Elvie denied the woman’s claims, saying that the actress was born in Tanza, Cavite on Sept. 1, 1992.
Louise admitted that she wants to ask Morena some questions but that her childhood and her old pictures are enough for her to not believe the claims.
Recently, Louise and Morena finally met. The actress listened to Morena’s stories and also gave her the forgiveness she was asking for.
“Ang sinabi nyo po sa akin, gusto nyo lang po na humingi ng tawad at kilalanin ko kayong ina. Kung mapapatunayan man po na kayo talaga ang nanay ko, willing naman po ako. I am more than willing. Sino ba namang anak ang kayang itakwil ang kanyang ina? At kung yun po ang magpapaluwag sa loob nyo, ibibigay ko po,” Louise told her. “Nasasaktan rin po ako na makita ang isang taong nasasaktan nang dahil sa akin. Pero hindi ko rin po kayang makisimpatiya sa inyo ng sobra dahil inaalagaan ko rin po ang nararamdaman ng pamilya ko, lalo na ng nanay ko.”
In the end, Morena thanked Louise for forgiving her and even gave her a stuffed toy. She said that any time Louise needs her, she is just here.
