We were horrified when we heard about the freak accident that happened to Lance Raymundo a couple of months ago, when an 80-pound barbell fell on his face while exercising at a gym, crushing his nose and middle part of his face. That happened last March 20 and the singer underwent his first surgery five days after; it involved piecing back some of the broken bones, including the socket of his left eye, his right cheek bone, nose, and mid face.
This was followed by another surgery, which restored his nasal cartilage.
Lance debuted his new yesterday, May 27, through the Funfare column of Philippine Star writer Ricky Lo. And you know what, he totally got it back!
“Thank you, Lord, for giving me back my face!” he said. Lance and the whole family are so grateful his mom Nina Zaldua-Raymundo is planning to throw a thanksgiving party next week.
Now better make some more new music, Lance.
