Goodbyes are never easy.
This is what Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach wrote in an Instagram post on Mon, Jun 6 as she bids her farewell to fellow beauty queen, Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan.

But why is Pia saying goodbye? Olivia — Pia’s roommate turned pageant best friend — passed on her Miss USA crown to Deshauna Barber from the District of Columbia on Sun, Jun 5 (US time).
“Goodbyes are never easy. Olivia, I will miss you tremendously, thank you for being my [Miss USA] and for always being #confidentlybeautiful and confidently YOU,” Pia wrote. The message is accompanied by a photo that shows an emotional Pia with Olivia and Miss Teen USA Katherine Haik during the Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas.
Because Deshauna is the new Miss USA titleholder, does this mean Pia gets to have her as new roommate? Miss Universe and Miss USA are owned by WME/IMG, which also owns Pia’s apartment in New York.
In an earlier Instagram post, Pia paid tribute to Olivia, who she said is a “true representation of a Miss USA.”
We’re sure they’ll remain friends even after Pia passes on the Miss Universe crown later this year.
