President or grandad? Well, he can be both.
President Rodrigo Duterte was a doting lolo at the the reception of his grandson’s baptism, held at the Matina Enclaves clubhouse on Thur, Mar 16.
Duterte’s eigth grandchild, “Stonefish” (yes, that’s his nickname) was baptised in a simple ceremony at the Saint Francis of Assissi Parish in Davao City.
The President had missed the actual baptism ceremony, but he attended the party after. He was photographed kissing his youngest grandchild on the cheek.
Stonefish, whose full name is Marko Digong Carpio, is the 3rd child of Duterete’s only daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte and husband Manases Carpio.
Sara Duterte posted a photo of grandpa with former president Erap Estrada, who was one of Stonfefish’s godparents.
“You are blessed by two Presidents,” she captioned the photo.
Late last year, Sarah tragically lost two of her unborn triplets, just days after the deadly bombing in Davao City.
Sara and her husband have two other kids, Sharky and Stingray.
