Liza Soberano was a Kapuso before being a Kapamilya

Not everyone knows this but yes, Liza Soberano, the star of the new ABS-CBN soap Forevermore, used to be a Kapuso.
 
According to ABS-CBN News, Liza auditioned for both Star Magic and GMA Artist Center and that it was GMA Artist Center that offered her a contract first. It was only after signing the contract with the talent arm of GMA 7 that Star Magic called, also offering her a contract.
 
What did she do? End her contract prematurely. “I didn’t feel at home,” she said about the first time she went to GMA, but clarifying that she had no bad relations with anyone from there. It’s just that she watched a lot of ABS-CBN shows when she was younger. “Gusto ko talaga ABS.”
