Pop stars are used to having millions of screaming fans but it’s a whole other experience when the fangirling comes from another celebrity.

That’s what Filipino singer Morissette Amon felt yesterday when she found out that Jade Thirlwall, one of the members of British girl group Little Mix complimented her cover of their hit Secret Love Song.

“DON’T MIND ME, I’M JUST LITERALLY SHOOK AT THE MOMENT. Jade of @LittleMix shared clips of their team watching my cover of #SecretLoveSong at the Asia Song Festival on her IGStories!!” Amon tweeted, obviously thrilled.

She added that it looks like Perrie Edwards, another Little Mix member, can be heard commenting on her performance as well.

In the video posted on Thirlwall’s Instagram Stories on Monday, the British singer can be heard gasping in amazement as she watched Amon’s performance at the Asia Song Festival in Korea last year.

Amon followed up her tweet of the video with a photo showing that Thirlwall was already following her on Twitter.

Like Little Mix, which was formed in the UK singing competition The X Factor, Amon is also the product of a reality shows. She was first part of TV5’s Star Factor at 14 years old but became more popular after joining the first season of The Voice of the Philippines on ABS-CBN in 2013.

One of her live performances went viral earlier this month when she was caught on camera missing a note in concert. Instead of being bashed, netizens praised her for singing live and owning up to it.
