The original cast of Miss Saigon had a little reunion in London last Sept. 22 when Lea Salonga, Simon Bowman, and Jonathan Pryce – who are all members of the original 1989 cast – performed together with members of the 2014 London West End production. Held at the Prince Edward Theatre, the 25th anniversary gala featured Pinays like Rachelle Ann Go (this year’s Gigi) and Lea Salonga (the original Kim), who performed “Movie in My Mind.”
Lea also performed “Last Night of the World” together with her Chris, Simon Bowman. The two were later on joined by their counterparts this year: Pinay Eva Noblezada and Alistair Brammer.
This year’s The Engineer, Pinoy Jon Jon Briones, sang “The American Dream” with Jonathan Pryce, the original Engineer.
