Kris Aquino spoke up about the rumors saying she is now supposedly “in love” with a Nueva Ecija town councilor whom she met while producing her new television show, Trip ni Kris.
“Walang (there is no) truth whatsoever,” Kris said in a report by Rachelle Siazon on Pep.ph
Kris was being linked to Councilor Renan Morales, son of Rhodora Morales, producer of Trip ni Kris, which was aired on GMA 7 Sunday night, April 7.
“Okay, super nagamit ako (I was used) because the son wants to be vice-governor of Nueva Ecija,” Kris said.
Kris claimedd that the Moraleses allegedly promoted themselves during the press conference of the show at Club Filipino on March 16.
She added that the payment for the project was delayed.
According to a report by the Manila Times earlier this month, Renan surprised Kris with the hundreds of balloons and rare Ecuadorian roses on the eve of Valentine’s Day.
Renan was a national racing champion and an Asia F3 Formula driver before he entered politics. He had been linked to Batangas vice mayor Andrea del Rosario, TV anchor Phoemela Baranda, and former model Kit Barraquias.
Kris made it clear that she no longer has a connection to the Morales family.
“I have no involvement with them,” she said.
