Kris Aquino posts photo with ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star Contance Wu

Should we take this as a sign that she’s really going to be a part of “Crazy Rich Asians”?

The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino posted on Instagram a selfie with one of the movie’s lead stars, Constance Wu of “Fresh Off the Boat” fame.

#fangirl moment. We’ve seen every episode of the 3 seasons of #freshofftheboat & so happy they’ve been renewed for Season 4! “I know how exhausted she was BUT she still made the effort to pleasantly converse with me,” Aquino wrote.

Wu’s reply pretty much confirms that they are working on a project together.

“So great to meet you! See ya tomorrow,” Wu said.

Rumors that Aquino will join the cast of the film started floating around after she posted about how she signed a contract with a Los Angeles-based agency back in April.

On Monday, she posted a photo of herself in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport saying she’s heading to Singapore to fulfill a dream.
