Oh Kris Aquino, you never fail to surprise us!
A month after she led us to believe that she was renewing her contract with ABS-CBN, it now appears that the 45-year-old Queen of All Media is going with rival network GMA.

What has been confirmed so far is that Tony Tuviera, owner of APT Entertainment and TAPE, is now her lead manager. (That post used to be filled by ABS-CBN’s Deo Endrinal.)
Talent manager and TV host Boy Abunda will continue managing her endorsement deals.
What does that mean for you and me? “Let us surprise you,” Kris said to Ricky Lo in a report published today on The Philippine Star.
Kris also told Dindo Balares of tabloid Bandila that she’s partnering with APT Entertainment, owned by Tuviera, for “digital initiatives.”
This is similar to another report, by Salve Asis of the tabloid Pilipino Star Ngayon, that said Kris is doing a digital-media cooking show similar to Buzzfeed Tasty’s viral videos.
A Pep.PH report by Nerisa Almo, citing an unnamed source, said Kris may do a talk show that will air before noontime variety show Eat Bulaga. (It wouldn’t be the first time she’s appeared in a GMA talk show; she co-hosted Startalk from 1995 to 1996 with Boy Abunda and Lolit Solis.)
Tuviera may not be directly linked to GMA, but his company TAPE produces Eat Bulaga, while APT Entertainment is behind Sunday PinaSaya. Both air on the Kapuso network.
He also owns the talent management agency Triple A, which handles GMA talents like Marian Rivera and Maine Mendoza (hence earlier rumors that Kris was going to do a movie with Alden Richards and Maine).
So clearly, all roads lead to GMA for Kris.
Kris has remained quiet about all of this on her social media accounts. She is currently in Baguio with her family.
We suggest you enjoy the silence while it lasts.
