Thank god for seatbelts!
Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and her son James “Bimby” Yap figured in a car accident on Edsa yesterday while on their way for a taping of Kris TV where both appear in a segment called Kris and Bimby Summer TV”.
The vehicle in front of them had made a sudden stop after two armored cards ahead of them abruptly changed lanes. “Our brakes were good and we were all wearing seatbelts,” she narrates on her Instagram account. “But we were bumped by the car immediately behind us.”
We know Kris to be very professional and wouldn’t have been surprised to see her take all this in stride. “I wanted to be a professional & finish our commitment, but Bimb and I are really feeling dizzy from the impact and I want to make sure we’re both okay,” she says.
The two have gone to St Luke’s in BGC for a checkup and everything is okay now. They were just sent home and asked to rest and take some medicine.
